How do I sign up for an account?

To sign up, click “Join Now” on the top bar of the homepage and sign in with your Facebook, Twitter or Google+ account. You can also sign up with your email.

How can I search and find my friends on

You can find your friends in two ways:

  1. Type the first or the last name of the person you are trying to find in the search field. Click on “users” and all your options will be displayed on the page. You can also type in their username if you have it.

  2. Click on your profile picture in the upper right hand corner and select “Find Friends”. You will have the option of finding and inviting your friends on Facebook, Google & via email. Once you see their names, you can follow or send them an invite to join Bellashoot.

How do I follow or unfollow other users?

To follow a user, simply click on their profile picture or username. Then, click on “Follow” underneath their profile picture to start following or click on “Following” to unfollow them.

How can I check which other users are following me and whom I am following?

Click on your profile picture in the upper right hand corner of your screen select "My Profile." Once you're on your profile select “followers” or “following” tabs. Your screen will populate with the category selected.

What kind of post can I upload?

  1. You can upload images relating to beauty from your computer or the web.

  2. You can upload a beauty related article from anywhere on the web.

  3. You can upload your favorite beauty videos from YouTube.

How can I upload a post?

Simply click on the “Upload” tab on the top bar and it’ll take you to a section where you can decide what kind of posts to upload.

Who can see my photos?

All photos are public by default which means they are visible to anyone using Bellashoot or on the Bellashoot website.

How do I manage email & notifications preferences?

In order to edit your email notifications click on your profile picture in the upper right hand corner and select “Settings” from the drop down menu. Then, click on the “Preferences” tab and make the necessary adjustments.

Can I report a post or a comment that is inappropriate on the site?

Yes, you have the ability to flag any post or comment that you find inappropriate.

How do I change my profile picture?

  1. Click on your picture in the upper right hand corner and select “Settings” from the drop down menu.

  2. Click on change picture under profile settings on the right hand side of the screen and upload your new picture.

How do I edit my profile?

In order to edit your profile, click on your profile picture on the top right hand corner of the website and then select settings from the drop down menu. From there you can edit your profile.

How do I search for a specific user or a look?

Click on the “Search” icon on the top toolbar and then type the first or last name of the person or any beauty keyword that you want to search for.

What is a collection?

A collection is a place for you to store all your favorite beauty posts. You can create multiple collections and categorize all your favorite posts.

Who can view my collection?

All collections are visible to Bellashoot members.

How do I create a collection?

You can create collections in two different ways.

  1. Click on your profile picture in the upper right hand corner and select My Profile. Then click on the collections tab. From there you can create a collection by simply typing a title for your collection like wedding hairstyles, date night makeup, braid tutorials, etc. and then click “Create”.

  2. You can also create a collection by clicking the star icon on any post and then entering a title for a new collection.

Are you going to make an app for iPhone and Android?

We are currently working on an iPhone and Android app and will be announcing it shortly.

How can I provide feedback?

Simply click on the “feedback” button on the left side of the screen & fill out the form. We will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible (within 3 business days). You can also email us at [email protected].

I have a technical problem or support issue I need resolved, whom do I email?

How do I deactivate my account?

To deactivate your account please send an email to [email protected] from the email registered to your account.
